Fred & Muriel Lebold Scholarship Fund


A Scholarship program for members of Local 92 was established in 1991 as a living memorial to the late Fred Lebold, Secretary-Treasurer of Local 92.


The Executive Board is pleased to announce that this year there will be three scholarships awarded for $3,000.00 each.


Those eligible are members of Local 92 and their immediate family members for continuing education in any field of the applicant's choice.


The scholarships will be awarded by APRIL 26, 2024.


The deadline for submitting applications is APRIL 5, 2024.

Vernie Reed Scholarship 2024 Applications


The 2024 W. Vernie Reed Scholarships Applications are NOW available...


In 1981 the W. Vernie Reed Scholarship Fund was established as a living memorial to the late W. Vernie Reed, General Secretary-Treasurer of the Laborers’ International Union of North America, who represented our Northwest Region. Since that time, the scholarship fund has awarded 307 scholarships totaling over $475,000 to our members, their children and grandchildren from various Local Unions throughout the Region.

We should all take great pride that we have established such a fund in memory of one of LiUNA’s past leaders, who fought so hard for every LiUNA! member, Local Union and District Council.

Pipe Line Contractors Association of Canada


PLCAC Student Award Program


The Pipe Line Contractors Association of Canada allocates awards in the fall of each year to a son or daughter of parents or guardians who derive their principal income from pipeline construction.


The PLCAC Student Award Program works to assist students entering post-secondary education programs.


The program has assisted 380 students since the award program was established in 1974.



To Qualify



  • An applicant must be a son, daughter, or ward of a person whose principal income is derived from the pipeline construction industry.
