MML- SUNCOR (FT MCMURRAY, AB)- is requesting the following:
1G/L for DAYS to report ASAP (JOB# 58501)
1G/L for DAYS to report January 14th (JOB# 58502)
ALL to report on the start dates listed at 8:00am to perform general labour duties including operating a skid steer, climbing stairs & ladders, garbage clean-up, flagging, lawn maintenance & snow removal. ALL must have Skid Steer Ticket (with Experience as this job will be screened), CSTS09 & OSSA Orientation or OSSA BSO/CSO, Air Purifying Respirator (APR), Respiratory Protective Equipment (RPE), ESC Confined Space Monitor & Entry, ESC Fall Protection, OSSA/ESC Firewatch, Flagging, Gas Detection, WHMIS-2015, Wildlife Awareness, a valid Class 5 Driver’s License. Duration is 2 weeks+ working 7x7 (12hr shifts- Must be willing to switch from Days to Nights when requested). Locals are preferred as there is NO camp/NO Loa. Multiple Online Orientations must be completed prior to arrival on site.
CHEMCO – AIR PRODUCTS – COMMON SITE SERVICES (NORTH OF SHERWOOD PARK) (JOB#58513) – is requesting 1G/L for NIGHTS to report January 12th at 7:00 pm for orientation to perform general labour duties including flagging, heavy lifting/moving (50lbs), handling & transporting material, continuous walking around site, climbing stairs & scaffolds and working outside. Must have CSTS-2020, Flagging, WHIMIS-2015 and be physically fit and experience with all the duties listed as this position will be screened by a business agent. Duration is 1 week+, working 4x10’s + (overtime as required) and you must have your own transportation as there is NO Camp/No LOA. The rate for this job is per the Air Products Enabled Rate.

Notice to Members: Ellement Consulting is moving locations as of September 1, 2025. The new location is 1050 – 11150 Jasper Ave NW Edmonton. Their office will be located on the 10th floor of the Devonian Building. If anyone has appointments booked with a pension analyst between August 16- September 1, 2025, the appointment will take place at the new location.

NOTICE TO LOCAL 92 PENSIONERS FROM BUSINESS MANAGER JOHN DESROSIERS: I am pleased to announce a pension increase of 5%. This had been announced and discussed at previous monthly Union meetings. The increase has taken effect May 1, 2025 and includes retroactive pay from January 1, 2025. On a go forward basis, June 1, 2025 you will notice the 5% increase to your pension amount
Please be advised that if you have not been previously dispatched to any Pipeline Jobs through Local 92, you will be required to provide proof of experience PRIOR to bidding in the form of a ROE or Letterhead from the Company you previously worked for.

RSAP PROGRAM
Notice to Members enrolled in the VOLUNTARY RSAP Program: MEMBERS ENROLLED IN THE VOLUNTARY PORTION OF RSAP WITH ACTIVE STATUS, WILL NO LONGER HAVE TO RE-TEST. YOUR RSAP STATUS WILL REMAIN ACTIVE. TESTING AFTER A 6 MONTH PERIOD IS NO LONGER REQUIRED. If you are unsure of your RSAP status, please call Amanda Stefanizyn @ the Edmonton office directly at (780)801-5126. This change has been made by the RSAP Committee as of January 1, 2025. For Members currently in case management, there will be no change.
DRUG & ALCOHOL TESTING
Local 92 does not send members for Alcohol and Drug testing. The contractors require you to take these tests as per the site owners. You must refer to your dispatch slip and call the phone number that is listed next to "A&D Testing" in order to have a test booked in your area. Please do not proceed to orientation until you have spoken with the contractor.
TICKETS
Please ensure that all your tickets and skills are updated and on file for bidding purposes. Please do NOT bid on any job that you do not have the required tickets for. Any members who have any further questions regarding Local 92 dispatch rules, please call 780 426 6630 and speak to a business agent.
Please note; it is becoming increasingly more important that ANY members who accept a dispatch to any site, have a VALID Government issued photo ID. If you do not have valid government issued photo ID please do NOT accept a dispatch.
COLLECTIVE AGREEMENTS
Any members that wish to read the Collective Agreement that they are working under can access them by visiting the CLRA (Construction Labour Relations of Alberta) website.
SUCCESSFUL BID
If you successfully bid on a job and dispatch cannot reach you within one hour of closing the callout, the job will go to the next lowest bidder on the list or back on the callout.
